The Passion Behind Ladies of GridLock
Kizzy Mcswain-Gamble, the passionate founder of Ladies of GridLock Gun Club, has always been deeply committed to firearms and, most importantly, the safe and responsible handling of them. Growing up, Kizzy dreamed of pursuing a career in law enforcement, but life took her on a different path. Despite this, her love for firearms never wavered.
With a desire to combine her passion for firearms, traveling, and having fun, Kizzy created Ladies of GridLock—a premier firearms gun club that empowers women to handle firearms with confidence and skill. Located in Upstate South Carolina and parts of North Carolina, the club provides a safe, supportive environment where women can develop their marksmanship abilities, build connections, and explore the joys of firearm safety.
Kizzy’s vision is to inspire women through expert training, exciting travel opportunities, and unforgettable experiences that blend learning and fun. Under her leadership, Ladies of GridLock has become a thriving community for women who share a commitment to empowerment and responsible firearm practices.
Jamillah Douglas, the President of Ladies of Gridlock, is passionately committed to advancing the safe and responsible handling of firearms. She believes that empowering women through education and community engagement is essential for fostering a safer society. With a vision to empower women, her goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive space where women can receive expert training in firearms skills while also enjoying fellowship with like-minded individuals.
Jamillah's drive to educate others about gun safety is rooted in her understanding of the importance of responsible firearm ownership. She recognizes that many women may feel intimidated by the prospect of handling guns or unsure of their rights and responsibilities. Therefore, her goal is not only to provide practical training but also to instill confidence and knowledge in her members, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding firearms.
Jamillah joined forces with Kizzy Gamble, the visionary founder of Ladies of GridLock and a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment. With her dedication and contributions, Jamillah has played a key role in shaping the club into a supportive community where women can safely enhance their firearm skills and confidence. Ladies of Gridlock is a gun club uniquely tailored to create a safe and supportive environment specifically for women.
This club offers a variety of programs, including hands-on training sessions led by experienced instructors, safety workshops and education focusing on gun laws and personal defense strategies. Beyond just technical skill-building, Ladies of Gridlock fosters a strong sense of community. Members are encouraged to share their experiences, form lasting friendships, and support one another in their journeys towards becoming more confident and knowledgeable gun owners.

Kizzy and Jamillah also organize social events, outreach initiatives, and collaborations with local organizations to promote overall awareness of gun safety in the wider community.
